Fatema Mohamed Al Nuaimi

Chief Executive Officer

Fatema Mohamed Al Nuaimi is Chief Executive Officer of ADNOC Gas, a world-class integrated gas processing and sales company operating across the full gas value chain. With more than 25 years of industry experience, she leads one of the world’s largest integrated gas businesses and the third-largest company listed on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), serving customers in more than 20 countries.

Under her leadership, ADNOC Gas is delivering one of the industry’s most ambitious growth strategies—strengthening energy security, expanding domestic and international operations, and creating long-term shareholder value. Backed by disciplined capital allocation and a resilient balance sheet, the company is executing a transformational growth strategy while maintaining a progressive dividend policy, including a commitment to increase annual dividends by 5% each year through 2030.

In 2026, Ms. Al Nuaimi was named one of CNBC Arabia’s Top 100 Business Leaders, recognizing her contribution to driving business excellence, innovation, and economic growth across the Arab world. Ms. Al Nuaimi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the United Arab Emirates University and an MBA from the American University in Dubai.

Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Peter van Driel is a highly experienced finance executive who has developed broad, deep, and international experience over 30 years in senior roles in the energy sector. Mr. van Driel joined Shell Plc in 1991, after graduating with a Master's degree in Business Administration from Rotterdam School of Management in the Netherlands.

Mohamed Al Hashemi

Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Mohamed Al Hashemi has more than 20 years' experience at ADNOC. During his first couple of years at ADNOC, Mr Al Hashemi successfully set up the maintenance section in the largest ADNOC Gas Processing Plant (Habshan) as a part of the company's restructuring.

Maitha Balfaqeeh

Senior Vice President, Shared Services

Ms. Maitha Balfaqeeh joined ADNOC Group in 2011, bringing experience from both gas and petrochemical industries. She is playing a pivotal role in enabling the organization by overseeing the Human Capital, Digital, Procurement, and Business Support Divisions.

Rashid Al Mazrouei

Senior Vice President, Marketing

Mr. Rashid Al Mazrouei is the Senior Vice President of Commercial at ALNG. With over 20 years of experience at ADNOC, he has held a variety of managerial positions at the organization.

Saud Mohamed Al Hammadi

Vice President, Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)

With deep experience in Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Compliance & Assurance, Technical & Operational Safety, Crisis Management, Incident Prevention and Business Continuity, Mr. Saud Al Hammadi is responsible for overseeing the implementation of a robust HSE & Process Safety Culture as part of ADNOC’s HSE Culture Transformation Strategy.

Mr. Tjalling Wiersma brings over 20 years of legal leadership in the financial and energy sectors. He plays a key role in enabling the organization through strategic legal frameworks, compliance transformation, and multinational team leadership across the Middle East and beyond.
